However, an injury-riddled defense and an opposing offense led by quarterback Tom Brady will make it a difficult task for 23-year-old quarterback Patrick Mahomes and company. We’ve heard what’s been coming out of Chiefs practice this week, but here’s what Tom Brady himself had to say about Mahomes, the Chiefs and the game on Sunday: On Patrick Mahomes saying he’s looked up to Tom Brady since he was young: “I think there are a lot of guys that inspired me when I was younger and I think you always look up to guys that are doing great things as athletes https://www.thechiefsfanshop.com/Tyreek-Hill-Jersey , as competitors,” Brady said. “I know I certainly have people to look up to. Obviously, he’s doing really impressive things as a young player and I know how hard that is to do. The Chiefs have a lot of confidence in him and what his abilities are. The players really rally around him and I think that speaks to his leadership. He’s got a great future ahead, he’s very impressive to watch.”On this year’s Chiefs defense: “They’re getting ahead in these games and their offense plays well, so it’s really great complementary football Demetrius Harris Jersey ,” Brady said. “It makes it tough when you’re behind because they make you one dimensional and that’s when Kansas City’s always done a great job. I feel like they’ve always had good pass rushers and you can see that when they’re rushing the passer and forcing the ball out and making interceptions. It’s our biggest challenge all year and we’ll have to meet it.”On last year’s loss against the Chiefs: “That’s in the past,” Brady stated matter-of-factly. “This is our new year and a new year for the Chiefs. We both have different teams. We need a win and we need a win at home.”
