First up was the Colts in week four and then the Bears in London. This next one goes way back.Houston Texans week eightThe Texans are a team which Derek Carr is quite familiar. He spent a good portion of his teenage years in Houston, which is where he gets that mild Southern drawl despite growing up in Bakersfield California. The reason Derek spent so much time in Houston is because his brother was playing quarterback for the Texans for five seasons.David was the number one overall pick in the 2002 draft as the expansion Texans’ first every draft pick. He was looked upon as a can’t miss, franchise quarterback, but the Texans basically ruined him. They didn’t invest in his offensive line and every week little Derek watched his brother get absolutely destroyed. To be exact, David was sacked 249 times including an incredible 76 times his rookie season. Those five seasons were the end of David Carr’s career as an NFL starter. He would start four more games for the Panthers and then spend four seasons as Eli Manning’s backup in New York before calling it a career and becoming a studio analyst.Watching his brother get beat up and sacked week after week traumatized Derek. And he lived through this form age 12 to 17 -- the years in which his football skills would be formed the most. It’s the reason he has such a short clock in his head when he’s in the pocket. This revenge is about more than just his brother. In 2016, when Derek led the Raiders to their first playoff berth in 14 years David Sharpe Jersey , one of his 12 wins came against the Texans. It would have been the only time he had to face them that season, but in week 16 he broke his fibula. This led to a loss to the Broncos in the season finale, which dropped the Raiders to the wild card slot and sent them to Houston to play the Texans. So, here the Raiders were. In the city Carr called his second home for five years. Facing the team he once rooted for because of his brother and came to resent because of what they did to his brother and once again, he there he was, feeling as helpless as his 12-year-old self to do anything. The Texans – who had no business winning that game otherwise – would beat the Raiders who were led by rookie Connor Cook making his first ever start. Cook threw three interceptions and was sacked three times while completing just 18 passes.A midseason win over the Texans won’t take away the deep sting for Carr Karl Joseph Jersey , but it would sure feel a lot better to light them up.Next up: Derek Carr revenge game: Week 13 at Kansas CityAlso see: Derek Carr revenge game vs Colts and in London vs the BearsFollow @LeviDamienPFF top five graded Raiders in week four The week four grades are out from Pro football focus. The Raiders had several standout performances in the game. Some of the names in the top five this week should come as no surprise, while others performance may have flew under the radar.Maurice Hurst- 90.5Maurice Hurst was a stat line stuffer on Sunday. The fifth round pick showed why he was considered a first round talent before it was discovered he has a heart condition.Hurst made what was arguably the turning point play of the game when he caused a fumble with a sack on Baker Mayfield on the Cleveland five yard line. The Raiders were down 28-14 at the time and scored three plays later to cut the lead to 28-21.Hurst ranked third in week four among all interior defensive lineman.Reggie Nelson- 80.4Fan favorite, Reggie Nelson earned himself a top five PFF grade in week four.Paul Guenther has had Nelson back in recent weeks, even with fans calling for his benching.Nelson came up with an interception as time expired in the fourth quarter.Nelson also had a pass deflection to go along with three tackles.Jared Cook- 78.1Cook was a match up nightmare for Browns linebacker, Joe Schobert.Cook was targeted 13 times and caught 8 passes for 110 yards.Cook scored his first and second touchdown of the year as well.On the year Cook ranks third among all tight ends with a grade of 81.8.Derek Carr- 77.6Derek Carr’s performance reminded Raiders fans of the 2016 version of himself.Carr engineered a second half comeback when the Raiders trailed by as many as 14.Although, he threw interceptions six and seven on the year Shilique Calhoun Jersey , the good certainly out weighed the bad.Carr shredded the Browns defense for 437 yards and 4 touchdowns.Carr displayed grit and toughness throughout the game.Amari Cooper- 72.9Cooper went over the century mark for the second time this season.Amari led the receiving corps with 8 catches on 12 targets for 128 yards. His touchdown came late in the second quarter, Carr and Cooper hooked up for an 8 yard score.
