Russo-USA TODAY SportsAfter a busy first two days, the Raiders kicked off the final day of the 2019 NFL Draft selecting Eastern Michigan defensive end Maxx Crosby at 106 overall. How does that staff at Silver & Black Pride feel about the pick?Tyler GreenAfter drafting Clelin Ferrell with the fourth overall pick, the Raiders continued to improve their pass rush by adding Crosby in the fourth round. At just 255 lbs, Crosby has to continue to fill into his body, but he had a productive career in college with 18.5 sacks over the last two years Foster Moreau Oakland Raiders Jersey , and has the potential to really contribute on the Raiders defensive line. At this point, Crosby is good value and addresses a key need for Oakland. Grade: B+Ryan LiptonOakland was able to get solid value for Crosby. ESPN had him ranked as the 106th best prospect in the draft and the Raiders grabbed him at that exact position on Saturday. Crosby is a very good run defender but will need to work on his pass rushing skills to become a starting defensive end in the league. Regardless, Oakland got good value and helped add depth to a desperate position of need. Grade: B+Marcus KrauseThere is no doubt that the Raiders still needed to add more to their defensive line after only having 13 sacks last year, and Maxx Crosby is an interesting prospect out of the MAC conference. He was great at stripping the ball in college which is a great trait to have on the edge, and he was very productive with getting to the QB. He will need a lot of work with the trainers to get his weight up to match his 6’5 frame, but his 4.66 40 and 36in vertical show he has the athleticism needed to succeed. Grade: BBD WilliamsThe state of the defensive end position almost guaranteed the Raiders would take two defensive ends in this draft. Crosby blew up the combine and posted great production in college. He also has great size so he fits what Paul Guenther wants at defensive end. Not sure how much of an impact he will make, but he’ll get chances so might as well gamble on a big athletic kid.Grade: BThomas WheatonI had Maxx Crosby on my mock draft on Wednesday Foster Moreau Oakland Raiders Jersey , and I believe he is a great value pick for the Raiders. For a big guy Crosby can really move, as he proved with a solid combine this year. Seems like a prototypical defensive end for Paul Guenther and will mesh well with Clelin Ferrell and Arden Key. They were even odds to be on the show. The latest odds, however, say that has shifted. The Raiders now sit at 5/2 odds according to betonline.ag and have dropped to second in the odds behind Washington who is at just a hair below even odds.Washington: 5/4Oakland Raiders: 5/2New York Giants: 3/1Detroit Lions: 7/2San Francisco 49ers: 9/1So Foster Moreau Jersey 2019 , it’s the Gruden brothers atop the odds. Interesting.It’s unclear what may have moved the needle for the oddsmakers and the change in odds doesn’t necessarily mean anything in terms of which team will ultimately be selected. They have have already been selected, but an announcement has yet to be made.The 49ers were already the least favored, but tecent reports are that Hard Knocks didn’t favor them either, distanced them farther.
