DETROIT -- With his team down by a goal after two periods, Philadelphia Flyers coach Craig Berube had a message for his team. "Stay out of the penalty box," Berube said he told his players between the second and third periods. Apparently, they listened. It was Franzens eighth goal. Tatar got his second goal of the game on a 5-on-3 power play by putting in a loose puck from a goal-mouth scramble with 9:47 left in the middle period. It was Tatars fifth goal. The Red Wings Justin Abdelkader hit the post on a partial breakaway with 1:32 left in the first. Tatars first goal of the game opened the scoring with 9:43 left in the opening period on a one-time shot from the bottom of the left circle.
