While Montoya and Brian Campbell failed to move the puck, Perreault was able to backhand it into the net for his 15th of the season. In the third period, the Jets added to their lead early on Harrisons goal and after Boyes tallied for the Panthers, Kanes power play marker accounted for the final margin.
